  • I was, for many years, a professional civil engineering technologist and the owner of three successful civil engineering close corporations. In 2014, I was involved in a serious motorcycle accident and spent an extended period in hospital recovering from my injuries.
    As I was not in a position to manage my own affairs at the time, I was placed under curatorship. After years of rehabilitation, I recovered to the point where I felt able to resume control of my finances and assets.

  • Where do I begin to sing Mr Gerard Stoop's praises? A while ago, I was on drugs and made some serious bad decisions. I was charged with a criminal offense and Mr Stoop did not judge or make me feel less of a person. Instead he gently got me to open up and made me aware of what could happen. I could be serving jail time. However, Gerard fought for me in court and I ended up with no jail time, but house arrest and community service.
    This was the turning point in my life and I have Mr Stoop to thank from the bottom of my heart. I will forever be in his debt for giving me my life back
